What are Small Groups?
Small groups are an avenue of discipleship. We gather into groups of 6-10 people to essentially “share life together” and learn more what it means to follow Christ in our everyday lives. Small groups are included in our core values because living life in community is a crucial aspect of our lives in Christ. This is also why we do our small groups in the homes of our members, getting to encourage each other and growing to be more like Christ.
Small groups are offered at different times of the year and can run for different lengths of time depending on the study. Each small group will go through a study together which is selected by the leadership team and then posted on the Coram Deo groups page for signup. The details of when and where a group meets is usually decided after we know who the members of the group will be to make sure it works best for all members. Typically the leaders home is used unless there is something else that works better for the group. Small Groups start in the fall and continue throughout the Winter finishing up in Spring. Depending, there may be an option for a small group to continue through the Summer.
